On our way back from living in Australia in 2009, we spent several months travelling countries in Africa. While in Kenya, we met peopl in the Masai Mara tribe - my husband even tried the jumping dance that they do as you can see! This painting is from a photo we took of a lady standing next to her hut. I feel the lines on her face show a huge amount about her life and her character.
