At this point I was fascinated with hands. I believe you can tell a lot about somebody by looking at them. Whether they are worn, well kept, rings and bracelets, manicured. So I took many photos of my own hands and sifted out ones worth depicting. I was also examining control when it comes to my work. So I allowed paint to drip down the canvas of its own free will. I loved the contrast this showed between the drips and the careful expression of my hand.
