My good friend Marianna asked me whether I would paint her with her daughter and I was happy to do so. I made the canvas myself which was my first time. I then took a few photos of them together and we agreed on this one. I felt it was lovely to see a mum helping her girl and guiding her. She is from Greek descent so I called it Mitera, Greek for "mother"
