Before my TBI I always had my hair down. Except when I was working in the lab of course and usually when I was painting. I didn't think twice about it. I'd brush it in the morning and that'd be it. At most I'd chuck a beanie hat on when I went outside and that was it. Never thought twice about it.
But since my TBI it's been different. Every morning I get up, brush my hair and tie it back. End of. I'm fully aware of the fact that it's not flattering, but I actually don't care. I know I shouldn't say this but, I almost feel as though I don't deserve to look any better.
