So...in June 2007 we said goodbye to Glasgow and landed in Melbourne via Hong Kong!
Paul and I lived in Melbourne Uni accommodation while I started working as a postdoc and Paul spent his days wandering the city looking for a place for us to live.
He found it - the suburb Fitzroy, full of artists, students, a place that felt creative and exciting. Oh, and graffiti everywhere!
We found a little house with a huge wall next to a large window - brilliant for painting. Also, an outside patio perfect for barbies at the weekend.
We spent our spare time exploring the city, spending time with newly made friends and enjoying the outside lifestyle of Australians.
On September 11th, 2008 (last photo) I went to an Honours dinner, representing my neuropharmacology lab. The photo with my arm around a friend is the last photo taken of me before my TBI. After the dinner, myself and some other staff went to a bar...
