Even after I finished Sue Black's brilliant book, there's something that stayed with me and still keeps coming back.
She wrote how when she was 9 years old she was raped by a colleague of her parents. She didn't actually know what had happened at the time and told nobody for 10 years. She then told her Mum who didn't believe her.
She wonders whether that experience gave her Harris lines. This appear in your bones if you are malnourished or have experienced a trauma.
As soon as I read her words it made me wonder something. I wonder whether I had anything that would have appeared on my x-rays after 11th September 2008?
