Henry Fraser - mouth artist

One morning this week I was looking through that night's tv and recording what looked good. I do that every morning in my TBI way.

On the news they were talking about some guy. Who painted. With his mouth. Because he was paralysed.

I stopped what I was doing and watched. Henry Fraser, when he was 17 and on holiday with his pals. He dived into the sea and hit his head on the seabed. That made him tetraplegic and he was unable to move from the neck down.

"I found an app on my iPad that I could use for drawing by holding a stylus in my mouth, I loved it! When my health had improved I was able to get out of bed and I taught myself how to draw and paint with pencils and paint by attaching the utensils to a mouth stick.

"Rediscovering my love for art has opened up a thoroughly enjoyable new chapter in my life," he added. "Adversity has given me a gift."

This blew me away. A man making the most of something he enjoys doing, after a terrible accident. I'm going to buy one of his works, definitely. His website is here for you to take a look...
