Memories from one of my prints...

We've just come back from visiting my Mum and Dad with our boy. I noticed on their wall a print I framed and gave them for Christmas one year - it brough back some strong memories.
I made this woodcut print when I was doing an adult class at the Glasgow Print Studio, Trongate 103. I used a photo I took when in Wellington, New Zealand of a Māori statue.
I remember going to pick up two of these framed prints for my parents and for my close friend Jane. Just before Christmas I went to pick them up from the Otago Framers and was just walking down Bank Street when I blacked out.
I remember coming around sitting on the pavement, while a couple of people were feeding me a can of Coke and a Caramel bar. I had had an epileptic fit.
Luckily my framed prints were still intact so I made my way home after my fit.
What I'm happy to say is that that was the last fit I've had. It was in 2013.
