Our day yesterday was spent celebrating our boy’s 9th birthday and Jack made us not to tell him what we were going to do!
We picked up his pals and headed towards the bowling place, and the penny finally dropped. He opened his presents and got some brilliant stuff along with a 9 year old badge of course…
…then he got a few strikes in the bowling game and (unlike the last time we went) he didn’t get into a grump…
…then the Subway into town which was exciting as the boys stood up and stumbled around…
…and with a little wait before the show we made an important stop at Lego shop. Woah, they’ll be making a fortune this time of year eh…
…and finally, we went to watch The Snowman together. It was a film, orchestra, choir and sing along extravaganza! Plus, lots of everyone standing up and singing with body movements. We particularly liked the “Eight maids a milking” hand action ha!
