Niece's 17th birthday

This is always a thought provoking time of year for me. It's very soon the 17th birthday of my youngest niece. I have not been able to see her in person since she was 18 months old.

I have sent her a gift voucher, which was the only present I was allowed to send her, that my sister did not forbid.

I have also sent her a canvas I designed from one of my paintings, Grasp, 2014. This piece of work appeared in several exhibitions, a book and an online blog that was published by my gallery Agora.

I really hope that these couriered items are received by my niece and not intercepted. That is all I can do x
