Toothbrush

When I was doing my teeth last night, I had a strange memory.When I first got back from Melbourne and I used to pick up my toothbrush, I always remember it being sticky. I couldn't understand why.

Now I know why. After I'd used it I didn't rinse it properly. Whatever used toothpaste that was left on it used to move downwards when I put the brush back into the cup. So when I picked it up the next day it was covered in dried paste.

How could I not have realised that back then?!
