Praying

Our family of three have been down at my parents this week celebrating Easter, which was great.

Late last night my mum and I were sitting in the living room and she started talking to me. She told me, with tears in her eyes, that she made a promise to God, that if he let me live, then she would pray to thank him every day of her life forever.

Now I'm not really a believer myself, but I can totally accept that it's the way some people live their lives. I can also see how it can help people to cope at really bad parts of their lives too.

She asked me to leave her so that she could pray and I was very happy to go into the kitchen for a wee while x
