Vet School versus OU

So, I want to just write this down on here.

When I went to vet school it was pretty the same year after year.

·         go to lectures

·         take notes

·         go home and learn them

·         take exam

It was a simple equation – the more facts you could cram into your head, the better you’d do in the exam.

Moving onto my OU work is a whole different ball game.

·         login to tutorials

·         read coursework

·         stop and ask yourself what fact influences which other facts?

·         but how then does that relate to the other one?

·         so, when you add this to it, how does it all work?

·         so that works, but to what extent does it work compared to the other one?

I feel as though my brain is working in a completely different way! It’s not how much info you can cram in within the time, it’s more about forming patterns in your brain as you go along…ha, would you cotton on that in my past life I researched the brain a wee bit!?
